To do or not to do come Rain or Shine when you visit The Mourne Lodge!

  • Climb any of the Mourne Mountains; Slieve Donard at 850m is the highest peak in Northern Ireland
  • Go for a walk up to the Cnocnafeola Wood
  • Visit Annalong Harbour and do the Mourne coastal walk – one of Ireland’s most picturesque
  • Visit the Mourne Wall which start and finish near Silent Valley
  • Visit Silent Valley with its beautiful parkland and pond – also walk up to the reservoirs
  • Go for a round of golf at the Mourne Park Golf Club
  • The Head Road Cycling Route – 16 miles of great scenery starting and finishing in Kilkeel
  • Go Horse Riding nearby and track through the mountains to Lough Shannagh
  • Walk to Lough Shannagh – enjoy a picnic by the lake and catch a fish if you feel inclined!
  • Visit Cranfield beach and Greencastle and enjoy both the mountains and the sea
  • Play a game of pitch and putt at Cranfield
  • Mountain biking at the new track in Rostrevor (a world class one!)
